It’s a distillate from the oils of the berries and leaves of the West Indies Bay Tree, and yes, once upon a time drinkable rum was made from the leaves. In fact, back in the 16th and 17th centuries in the Caribbean, rum was an accepted currency, even being used to pay wages. We’ve added some citrus and spice oils to recreate the famous historic aroma.

Bay Rum Hair and Skin Tonic 100ml

We called it Hair and Skin Tonic so you can still buy it even if you haven’t got any hair. Clever eh? Are we allowed to say it gives you a fuller, thicker crop of hair? Probably not. Or that it’s good for minor cuts and bruises and has anti-fungal and anti-bacterial properties? Probably, but we’d have to go through all sorts of expensive red tape and hooha with the Drug Licensing Authority, so we won’t bother. Let’s just say it stings a bit but feels awesome afterwards. Smells nice too. Sort of blokey. 100% Natural.
